Which Specialist Should I Consult For Persistent Toenail Infection?

I had an injury under toenail that turned colors than was treated with antibiotics, no response. Than waited a yr told fungus, than oozing than bleeding. Went to a foot dr who took biopsy n was not melanoma. Yr later n still red but morphs into something new every few days, sometimes painful. Back to primary n now to foot dr again? Not bleeding but red weird shapes. Should I go to Dermoptera next? Primary thinks foot dr will cut n path further???

You have visit dermatologist first he will than refer to a surgeon probably for nail excision...most of the fungal infections of nails doesn't subsidize by oral treatment
