Hello and welcome to HCM
I have read and understood your query
I hope this will help you.
Colon is anatomically devided in to three parts: ascending colon, transverse colon and descending colon.
The transverse colon extends from hepatic flexure to splenic flexure..the mass you are describing is located in transverse colon.
The of route that colonoscope traverses to reach the growth will be as follow(from anal opening upwards):
Anal opening-anal canal-rectum- sigmoid colon-splenic flexure of transverse colon- transverse colon.
I hope I answered your query
