Which Medicine Is More Effective- Salmucolite Or Ambrolite?

hi doctor. MY son is 3 an half year old, His weight is 16 kg n height is 107 cm he is allergic to dust since yesterday he is coughing badly. He is coughing continuously. He vomited due to cough last night n today morning as well.
I gave him ambrolite D. Can u suggest which is more effective salmucolite or ambrolite

Welcome to HCM. We cannot really recommend brand names here or differentiate between different brands. I would suggest treating him with any medicine that is appropriate for wheezing and narrow airways. Salbutamol should be part of his therapeutic armamentarium.

Has your doctor considered giving him inhalers instead of the more risky syrups to control his wheeze.
