Hi,
your history regarding fungal infections in the Head and the toe nails is suggesting me that you are have a Onychomycosis. Which is nothing but fungal infection of head and Toe nails.
The most commonly used oral drugs for treatment is griseofulvin, terbinafine, itraconazole and ketoconazole.
The disadvantages of oral antifungal agents are, they require a longer treatment period and they have more side effects.
This drug is taken daily for 8 weeks for head infection and for 12 weeks for toenail infections.
You can consult your Derematologist for further opinion.
Thank you.
