dr I am 17 year and a type 1 diabetic recently come know. I am taking insulin daily three times. can I get a tablet or capsule in india, Chennai city. if yes when and where . please help me sir. it is just a question on the availability of medicine and does not need a consultation fee Dr.

Since your age is very young just 17 years , you are having type 1 or insulin dependent diabetes mellitus or IDDM .
The only treatment of this type 1 is INSULIN and don't responds to oral anti diabetic drug at all as far as known to me .
However I have seen so many ads over here & there and so tall claims but till date there is no scientific proof that type 1 is responding to oral anti diabetic treatment .
As I am doing research on this subject from many years , so don't trust over these tall claims . Take INSULIN and this is right treatment .
