When To Have A Value Replacement Surgery?
My colleague(male- age 42) has undergone a valve repair surgery when he was 21 yrs and valve replacement surgery when he was 28. But due to increase in his valve pressure gradient as 110, he is again advised to go for another replacement surgery. But he doesnt report of any abnormal symptoms.. He found this during his regular routine check ups. Is it needed and if so how urgent it is?

even after the replacement surgery also if he has high valve pressure gradient of the flow across the valve,it is better to get the resurgery done
that is why these patients are called for regular check up
now maybe he is symptom free, but the problems like sudden stoppage or valve block is also sudden during which resuscitation also becomes very very difficult.
prophylactic surgery is the best thing
if you save the heart life is saved
