Hello. Thank you for writing to us at healthcaremagic

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition affecting the centrofacial face and malar area,
There is redness, easy flushing and this may also be accompanied by acne lesions.
Rosacea is aggravated by sun, heat, cold, exercise, spicy food, strong emotions etc.
The skin in rosacea is sensitive & topical creams may easily induce irritation and therefore excerabate rosacea. Therefore it is generally advisable to avoid all other creams or products other than a sunscreen and those recommended for treatment of rosacea.
The cream that you have been prescribed contains fusidic acid. It is not an approved topical treatment for rosacea.
Specific topical treatment of bumps/ acne in rosacea is similar to acne and includes topical antiacne antibacterial gels like clindamycin 1% gel, benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel.
Topical metronidazole 1% gel and topical azaleic acid 10% or 20% gel is also approved in rosacea. They are antiinflammatory and help with both redness as well as bumps that are part of rosacea.
Besides topical treatment Oral antibiotics like doxycycline, azithromycin, minocycline are also effective in bumps/ acne that usually accompany rosacea.
I suggest you to use a gentle cleanser for face wash e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion.

Regards

hi, welcome to HCM,
Drug of choice for topical application in acne rosacea ic metronidazole cram, alternatively you may apply azelaic acid gel.
Avoid hot and spicy food, it aggravates rosacea.
Fucidin has very less role in this.
Hope this is helpful.
Thanks.
