General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

A hydrocele is a benign (non-cancerous) condition and emergency intervention is required. You can wait for a few months and it will not lead to any complications. Pyocele can rarely develop especially in case you are diabetic. You can repeat the ultrasound scan to rule out complications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
