When Should A Cardiac Stent Be Replaced?

I had a heart stent done 3 years ago. The stent was placed in the forward part of the heart. I felt like a new man for about 2 years. Lately I find myself tiring quickly and 3 days ago I had to leave work early because all my color had left my face and I felt bad. When I got home my BP was 90 over 72. I usually run in the 121 to 132 range. Could it be time to have my stent replaced?

Sir I understand your concern for your health condition. As per your history you had hypotension. First of all fully functional stent doesn't require replacement. Here you had hypotension with generalised weakness. I would suggest you to get yourself evaluated cardiac point of view. If needed get angiography also done which will actually help to find out whether your stent is functional or not. Wish you speedy recovery.
