Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I m trying to conceive for over a year now. I have been on clomofine citrate for the last two months. This month dr did a scan and injected the ovidac injection on the 12th day after my period. He asked us to have intercourse after 24 hours for one week and also take susten 200 from the 2nd to the 14th day. We were together last night. Should I start the susten from tonight?
Susten 200 should be taken two days after ovulation (day 14th of menstrual cycle) for about 14 days. Susten 200 (natural micronized female hormone progesterone) helps in regulation of ovulation, prepares the endometrium (inner lining of the uterus) for possible implantation of fertilized egg and supports and helps maintain a pregnancy. Susten should be taken at bed time regularly as suggested above.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
