When Does Cellulitis In Ear Get Cured After Taking Flucloxacillin?
My mum has been prescribed flucloxacillin for suspected cellulitis in her ear (due to a piercing), it s now been 72 hours and there is no change to her ear, in fact the redness has spread over most of the ear lobe - when should the antibiotics begin to work?

It should work within two days and in this case you should reconsider adding another antibiotics such as clyndamicin or metrinidazil. This may be serious infection so it should be managed properly.
