When Do Periods Begin After Taking Regestrone?

Hi, My periods are delay by 20 days and i have taken Regestrone 5 mg (twice a day) for 5 days. And its been 3 days i have completed my course, but i am still awaiting my periods. Please suggest how long i have to wait or any other medicine i should go for?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think, you should wait for the periods for one more week. If periods doesn't come after that, you may need a combination of oestrogen and progesterone for inducing periods.

If it happens again or frequently, get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods.
