When Do Periods Begin After Taking Meprate?

Hi....dr. . . . . My lmp is on aug 21 after that next month i didn t get periods and now October started still now i didn t get my periods.... My doctor told me to take meparate tablets for five days twice a day....... Whether i will get my periods after that or not...... Plz tell me....
