When Can Sex Life Be Resumed After Kidney Transplantation?

I am 29, male and a newly kidney transplant patient 2 months ago. My question is, how long should my wife and I wait before we practice sex again?Is masturbation prohibited too? We still don t have a child and we re planning to have one asap. Our worries is the medicines I m taking might affect the baby.
