hello how r u doing i have a question about chlamydia if i was to go to the ER AND GET CHECKED FOR CHLAMYDIA WHOULD THEY B ABLE TO GIVE ME RESULTS RIGHT THEN AND THERE TO SAY YES U DO R NO U DONT R DO U HAVE TO WAIT 5 TO 7 DAYS FOR YOUR LAB WORK TO KNOW FOR SHO

Hello, Thnx to hear you. If I am your advising doctor I would like to tell you, that when you will get the result of your test is depend on which test you are carrying on. If suppose some rapid kit are available which gives you results in minutes. If you are going for some culture work out it will take some long time, if you want to go with PCR it will give your result with in a day. So consider the factors like money, duration, sensitivity and specificity of the result that will all is important when you go for testing.
