I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your head ache.
As per your history you have
hypothyroidism, that means you must be have low blood pressure episodes too.
In case of low blood pressure in hypothyroidism patient the headache behave same type as that of
migraine. As it happened in night it can be because of same reason because the blood pressure falls too during sleep hours.
If you have any other same episode you must get your blood pressure checked to confirm whether it is because of BP issue or it is migraine.
Migraine has some characters like particular cause (food, medication, light, sleep disturbance etc etc.).
Also preceded by
nausea and
vomiting some times.
Aggrivated by any type of movement during the episode.
If you have above associated symptoms you can get checked by a physician for further management of migraine.
