Whats Could Blood In Urine Of Infants Be?

My 2 day old urinated and at the end of him doing so I saw blood in the stream. He has been having trouble urinating as the urine hole keeps closing up, and we have to bath it to open it up. It is not cut though as have checked, the blood was in the urine stream. He is a boy.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Stenosis or partial stenosis of the external urinary meatus is a congential anomaly.
Presence of blood at the end of the urine stream suggests bleeding in the urinary tract and the site of bleeding is in the urinary bladder or urethra.
The stenosis of the urinary meatus can be associated with some lesion in the urethra or bladder.
You need to consult a pediatric surgeon for clinical assessment, assessment of the urinary tract and plan further management according to the results of investigations.
in case there is any structural anomaly, it can be corrected surgically.

Thanks and take care
