What Would Happen If The AF Kit Is Taken Only By Me And Not My Spouse As The Doctor Has Prescribed?

Hello Sir/Mam, Today my gyno suggest me AF kit for my vaginal infection and she said that my husband also have to take this kit. I want to know why is it important for my husband to take this AF kit and what happen only if I take it and my husband doesn t?

Hi,

Vaginal infection spreads mostly by sexual contact. If inly one partner takes AF kit the person would get relief in infection but because the spouse is untreated, recurrence of infection is seen so to have competent relief, both the sex partners need to be treated simultaneously.
