What Would Dry, Itchy Circular Patches That Turns Red After Showering Be?

I have 1 big dry circular patch on my left upper arm that has very small goose-bump type texture and look to it. It s very itchy at times and it turns red when i have been in the shower, i also have about 5 small separate patches on my right upper arm. i thought it was ring worm but i am not sure, what could it be? i have searched the internet for rashes and i havent found anything like it as this rash has no colour to it

Hi.
As per your case history you are having fungal infection called as tinea corporis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
