What Would Cause My Colon To Distend?
What would cause my colon to distend? I mean, I had two CAT scan about 4 years apart and they did not find anything wrong only an enlarged liver, cysts in my gall bladder, and plenty of faecal loading, and lots of gas. No ascities were found. I do have a sedentary life style due to cervical cord compression between C4 to T1where there is a 33 mm graft from my Tibia which was performed by a top neurosurgeon in 2002. Recently I went for a holiday to Sri Lanka and to my surprise I discovered cysts in my faeces, there were about 6 cysts that I could see.

I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that if you do not have any clinical symptoms then why to worry about the distended colon, so called according to you, this could be a natural one that you must be having some flatulence problem which cause he feeling of something is distended, take care and have a nice day.
