I am a fourteen year old male, I want to know what effects having one puff on a cigerette may have, or whether it has any effects at all both long-term and short-term?

welcome to HealthcareMagic
The effect of one drag of cigarette on your health will be nothing but the one drag will give rise to addiction if you keep on taking one drag with friends.Smoking of cigarette is injurious to your health and at 14 you are too young to smoke. It will cause you addiction if you start smoking and then in future you can suffer from lung diseases and even cancer. So better safe than sorry.
Take care
