What Would Be Red Sore Spots With Itching On My Body?

i HAVE RED SORE SPOTS all over my Body. They are so itchy. I have to dig them. What comes out. Oh yes they hurt terrible trying to pull them out of my skin.Hope you do not think i am crazy but. If I pick one first it looks like a little white worm and when you put it on Leenex. Almost looks like a very small Black bug. It is driving me crazy. Can not sleep with the itch Thank You

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be prurigo nodularis. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. It may be due to mental upsets. Tension, worries and anxiety might exacerbate the disease. I would recommend you to take anxiolytic drugs for few months. Take antihistaminics like cetirizine 10 mg daily. Apply steroid cream on the lesions. Avoid soap bath. You may use dettol liquid for bath.

Hope this helps.
