What Type Of Tendinitis Affects The Radial Nerve?

I am trying to find a type of tendinitis that affects the radial nerve. I had a doctor once say it and it sounded like deep venous tendinitis, or something like that. I had a nerve conduction test and the results stated I have nerve damage but can be reversed with surgery. I have tried cortisone injections, therapy, and it doesn t help but increase the pain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are suffering from nerve damage. Nerve damage has been confirmed by nerve conduction velocity test. Commonly radial nerve is affected by flexor carpi radialis tendinitis, turners syndrome, radial palsy, etc. Sometime, cortisone injections can cause damage to the nerves and cause discomfort and pain, tingling sensation to the person affected.

Get clinically assesses, get treated at the earliest. Stay away from addictions if any. You will be treated with medicines and physical exercises. If the response to treatment is not good, you will be recommended surgery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
