Dear Thulasi, thanks for query.Because of injury you might have fractured your tail bone and which has lead to this problem. This kind of injury can lead to problem for long.Avoid seating on hard surface, use cushion. You can apply local analgesic ointment over the ares on routine basis to get some relief.Other wise see an orthopedic surgeon who can help your further.take care.

Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Jijo Jose's  Response
your pain is probably coccygodynia for which several reasons are there and ofcourse u had a fall so u might have brocken the tip of coccyx. since it is 8 months it might have atleast patially healed. the best way to get rid of this pain is to avoid sitting on hard surface. get a ring cushion where the inside of the ring is hollow so that your painful tip of spine will not touch when u sit. if this is not available try to get a scooter tube (not tyre) and u can sit over it for few months (3-6months). simple analgesics and sitz bath will reduce the pain. if still no relief u may have to have some local infiltrations to the part. surgery is the last option where the ofending part is removed.
