What Treatment To Be Taken For The Sour Throat?
Hi- My daughter complained of a soar throat tonight. She is six years old. when she stuck her tongue out, I noticed tissue protruding out from her throat (just at the base of her tongue). It had a semicircular appearance. I have never noticed it before. I am wondering if this might be her epiglottis?

I really appreciate your concern for your daughter, if she does not have any other associated symptoms like, fever, headache, vomiting, then no need to worry about this, the sour throat could be due to some allergic condition and this would come around with general care alone and that includes, salt water gargling, voice rest, try pure honey this gives excellent result, hope this information helps you, have nice day.
