What Treatment Should I Take For Increased Wcc And Neutrophils?

Hi, my doctors have told me that my recent blood results has shown an increase in my wcc and my neutrophils. My previous blood results had increase wcc, neutrophil and esr, but this time it has increase more. Am worried now because this has been going on for years and i have no answer to what causing it. Do you think this constant headache that i get every evening has anything to do whit this?

Hi thanks for asking question.

You have not mentioned how much increased in wbc count ??

You might have bacterial infection anywhere In body that can lead to increased wbc count .It is treated with antibiotic.

Some other causes like metabolic disorder like gout, hyperthyroidism , post surgery , history of myocardial infarction can also lead increased count.

If your total count is more then 50000 and premature cells increased with few atypical cells seen then bone marrow examination might needed.

If still cause not clear detailed investigation needed according to physical examination.
