What Treatment Is Suggested For White Matter Brain Lesions Mentioned On MRI?

Hi I had an mri twice now and it shows white matter brain lesions. I had a lumbar puncture and tested negative for MS, Lupus, and lymes. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, should I continue to push for a diagnosis for the lesions? Is it something that I should be concerned about? I do have a history of migraines, but the lesions are larger than is typically found in migraine patients per the report.

Hello!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

I would like to directly review your brain MRI report for a more professional opinion.
As far as the lumbar puncture has excluded such disorders, I would just recommend follow up with a brain MRI every 12 months.
Do you have any family history for CADASIL or stroke in young age (considering the fact that you suffer from migraines)?
You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
