What Treatment Is Suggested For Raised Ridge Towards Middle Of Zygoma?
Hi, I Slipped on black ice and landed on my cheekbone 4 weeks ago. i didn't attend a&e because a doctor at work said it wasn't displaced and therefore not worth the radiation. Now that the swelling and bruising has subsided I have a raised ridge running vertically alongside my lateral orbital ridge down to the middle of my zygoma. It's still sore to touch and numb around my temple. I look slightly different on that side especially when I smile as my laughter lines don't show and my eye appears larger. I'm curious as to what this is and will it go away?
thanks for your query i have gone through your query, the sweling over the zygomatic bone could be because of the zygomatico orbital complex fracture. youo have to consult a oral physician and take a radiograph to rule out any fracture. it is not very huge amount to get yourself exposed to radiations, its very mild and is diagnostic radiation that will not harm you. after radiograph if there is any fracture you have to get it treated by surgery. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
