What Treatment Is Recommended For This MRI Test Result Of Spine?

I was given an MRI and I have a bulging disk at C 5 and C7 it is causing a narrowing of the spine. I was not even given a consult with a neurologist. In fact they had my Gp explain and she told me she was not a surgeon and didn t fully understand what she was reading. Should I go out side my medical provider for a second opinion?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that due to osteoartheritis changes in vertebrae or intervertebral discs resulting in narrowing of vertebral canal producing pinched nerve pressure.
This might require physiotherapy and cervical traction to reduce bulging.
Consult orthopedic surgeon or spine specialist and get examined.
Ok and take care.
