Instead of arthoscopy surgery for a third stage miniscus tear of the posterior horn, what other treatment do you suggest. My injury is 4months now. I have been going for physiotheraphy for the last four months an continue the exercises at home together with complete rest for the last 3 weeks. Please advise me. Thank you

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the meniscus tear and cause the symptoms then surgery is the only option and it can not be medically managed or with physiotherapy, but some time physiotherapy may jeopardize the condition and it can not be tried else rest is the way for that, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
