What To Do If Total Cholesterol And LDL Is High And Prescribed Rozavel?

My lipid profile s cholesterol 250 mg/ do, s triglycerides 200 mg/ do, s hdl cholesterol 70 mg/ do, s LDL cholesterol 140 mg/ do, s vldl chlesterol 40 mg /do, s cholesterol/ hdl ratio 3.5. I have been prescribed Rozavel 10 mg / day. Please advise

There is nothing wrong in taking this tablet with the present lipid profile status especially if you have also any of the risk factors for coronary heart disease like obesity,hypertension,smoking,family history of heart disease etc.But diet and life style modifications are must to keep your lipid's in normal range whether you are on drug or not.Hope this information helps you.If any clarifications,happy to answer you.Take care.
