What To Do If Red Worms Are Found In Stools?

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Dr XXX ,

I have been getting red worms during passing of stools and I do have a stomach ache and feels of indigestion and itching in my anus .

I am feeling very hard while passing of stools .Am aged 25 female .

Kindly suggest me if albendzole will be the right drug for me and also let me have a diet chart to get rid of this trouble.

Welcome to health care magic,

Red stools could be as a result of infection or parasite infestations.

I think you should undergo various tests like routine blood count,ESR, stool for routine micro with ova/cyst.

You can take albendazole treatment right now but you will need to see some local physician or GP for the prescription since it is a prescription drug. Syrup cremaffin plus )stool softeners) would be helpful for hard stool.

So, consult your GP with all the reports I have mentioned and take advice accordingly.

Meanwhile take bland diet for 5 to 7 days without much sugar.
