What To Do If Having Thorns Under Skin After Working On Removing Diseased Plants?

I have had cactus thorns under my skin in my hands for almost 2 yrs now. I ve been to primary dr., dermatologist, infectious disease dr, and an allergist dr. I ve been going round and round with this and getting no where. It seems to move around both hands. I ve tried all the therapies but they still continue to be there. I was able to get about 70% of it but I m stuck with the 30%. What are the long term affects of having this problem besides scarring my skin??? Someone thought I may have black yeast but I m not convinced because it hasn t changed in the way it looks. Please understand I that I was exposed to these thorns from the Opuntia plant for 2 days in the midst of flying thorns unbeknownst to me. I was unaware of how the thorns hitch a ride. I thought only don t touch them . I was actually working on removing diseased plants. I can t emphasize how long I was being attacked, 2 days and 4 hrs at least.

Hi,

It is not possible that horns of cactus remain in skin for the long time. Skin definitely reacts to the foreign substance as granulomatous reaction or infection. You seem not having granuloma or infection. So, I do not believe that you are having thorns in the skin. I accept that you may be having odd sensation suggesting something wrong in the skin, for that you may believe for the presence of horns in the skin. I think that you must not have anything in the skin. However, consult the expert dermatologist personally. ..ok

Hope this helps.
