What To Do If Having Severe Headaches While Taking Birthcontrol?

Hi i recently been having huge headaches. Im not sure if it is due to switching birthcontrol or not. I just recently had a week off in between the birth control. I hadnt had any headaches that whole week. i started a new thing of tablets yesterday and today my headache came back. What should i do?

Which birth control are you using? If you are using the estrogen based, or the mixed pill, there is a higher chance of a migraine. Thus, you may be getting a side effect due to that.

You should see your Doctor and get onto a progesterone only pill or on to a copper T which will also help to prevent pregnancy. All the best.
