What To Do For The Excessive Coughing After Fever?
It started with no other symptoms other than high temp of 39 shivers chills & sweats for 3 days then mild cough & now day 7 I m coughing so much I can barely breathe I have to open my front door for air ... I no longer have the temp but a pain in my lower back & under my ribs ... I was prescribed anti biotics day 3 doing nothing ... Help !!???

If there is persistent severe cough even on 3 days of antibiotics,we have to examine the chest once more.If it is okay,this can be managed by adding a cough suppressant like codeine/dextromethorphan.
