i had adult acne at age 25 to 28 and when my doctor figured out i had low hemoglobin he gave me a couple kinds of vitamins and i havent had it since. does that work for teenage acne also? my son who is 16 has some acne and i wanted to see what would help him. he washes face all the time. he eats very healthy so not sure what to do.
I can understand your concern for the pimples a in yourself. Acne or pimples are youth related problem and is not a disease per say. You have not mentioned your sex and marital status.
You can apply a cream contains Clindamycin gel 1% and adapalene for topical application form. For clindamycin there is no harm in using it but adapalene can cause irritation if not used under dermatological supervision. It contains topical antibiotic gel and oral antibiotic and do not cause any side effects.
If I were your dermatologist then for dark pigmentation I would have suggested you to use azelaic acid cream or Kojic acid cream or glycolic acid cream or licorice extract or arbutine creams at night time in guidance of dermatologist.
Take a proper guidance and follow up with a good dermatologist so that all the problem of acne can be dealt best for future time.
