What Test Results Would Indicate Dengue In A Child?

My baby had a fever for three and half days. Yesterday and today the temp is normal, but she has a rash of tiny pale red spots over her face and neck. We are under a paediatric doctor and took blood today for Bhc and platelets. What test results would indicate Dengue?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Your baby may have dengue fever. Low platelet count and rashes are common in dengue. You should go for complete blood count with platelet count. You can go for NS1 antigen test and test for dengue Ig G and IgM antibodies.
You should regularly monitor your platelet count. If you have any signs of bleeding then consult your doctor urgently.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
