What Should I Do For Sweating And Rashes On Top Of Butt Crack?

hi, i have had a stomach bug for the past 6 days and an intestinal virus i think. I have been sweating in bed a lot and now have a bright red 2 inch rash at the top of my butt crack. what can i do to fix that? and should i ever go to the hospital if i have a stomach bug?

Hello,

You might have developed fungal infection.
Your description matches with it.
The area of groin is very moist and is prone to develop these infections.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
Various antifungal powders like candid are availabe.
These can help reduce the moisture as well as control the infection.
Please dont use any steroid, it can worsen your condition
