What Should I Do As My Daughter Got Bit By A Bug?

my daughter got bit by a bug and her hand is swollen , i lanced it no pus, just blood cleaned with alcohol, and used betadine on it, gave her an anihistimine, and put ice on it, their was a slight bump where she was bit, but not white or no red on bump size of pencil point, anything else i should do ?

I admire your attentive and swift reflexes and apt knowledge about the problem with which your daughter is suffering. you have done absolutely right and exactly what was required, but in my opinion, you must consult your physician as to be on a safer side, nevertheless it is absolutely at your discretion whether you want to consult him, the bump will fade away in about 2 to 3 days time. meanwhile you can apply ice for first 24 hours only
