What Should Be Done If The Skin Is Reddening After Using Triglow Cream To Remove Under Eye Dark Circles?

Hi Doctor, I have been asked by a Dermentologist to use Triglow Cream to remove dark circles from my face. However, after using this i have observed that the dark circles are getting removed but the skin is becoming red. Please advice what should i do.

Hi,

You seem to have developed an allergic skin disease.
Such a skin allergy can develop on rubbing of the triglow cream.
You should stop the application of this cream for sometime.
You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.

You might need to apply a mild topical steroid cream over the affected area twice a day for few days.
Take some oral antihistamines along.
Since this cream is causing irritation, it would be better for you to use a milder lightening agent like kojic acid.
See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy.

Hope it helps,

Dr Geetika Paul.
