What Should Be Done For Burning Pain After Ingesting Some Bleach?

Dr. Mintz, please help me. My Mother went to an emergency room yesterday for without knowing , ingested some bleach. She still have some burning pain and my concern is what she needs to avoid ingesting, and what you suggest her to eat and drink. Thank you and Happy New Year.

they are bleeaching agent like sodium hypochloride. they are corrosive alkali can cause injury from mouth to stomacch and intestine. first thing is to dilute it by taking lot of water. first it is to be diagnosed and if requered endoscopy can bedone. mild acidic drink like lemon water can neutralise it.
