What Should Be Done After Accidentally Bumping Head Into Bed Corner?

My son hit his head on the corner of the bed really hard and the corner of the bed I guess it punctured the skin a little and there was tiny dot of blood ! Now I have a cold rag on his head and he said he's ok!
He doesn't want me to move the rag or touch it ! Is he ok or what should I do ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

Look for signs of nystagmus, nausea, loss of consciousness, headaches, vision disturbances, bleeding from any orifices, etc. If he does not exhibit any of the above signs, then just continue with the cold pack on the affected region and that should suffice.

Best wishes.
