What Should Be Done After A Miscarriage?

I last got my period the end of October, beginning of November. On December 7th, I took a plan b. The last time I had sex was on January 4th. On January 31st, I took 2 pregnancy tests, one digital and one non-digital. Both gave a positive result. On Wednesday, February 1, my stomach was hurting. On Friday, I noticed bleeding and needed to wear a pad to work. At work, I soaked through the pad and ruined my pants. At home I had heavier bleeding and what looked like really large clots came out. I am pretty sure it was a miscarriage and need advice on the next step to take.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your bleeding while pregnancy could be due to miscarriage, hormonal imbalance, vaginal infection.
I would suggest to consult gynecologist and undergo examination and USG scan to know status of pregnancy.
If pregnancy product still inside then it should be managed by misorpstol or by D & C.
Take proper rest
Maintain proper hygiene
Painkiller and antibiotic should be prescribed
Eat healthy diet and drink plenty of water
Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
