What Should Be Considered In Stool Test To Know If Baby Is Having Infection?
green stools by 3months infant
my daughter is passing green stools since 10 days. 1st stool routine test said pus cells plenty.
after 5 days medication of antibiotics and lactogut powder it reduced to 8/hgf.
doctor said infection is too much.
continuing antibiotics for another 2 days pus cell reduced to 2/hgf.
but colour is greenish yellow. now doctor is saying still infection is present becuse stool test says mucus present.
baby passes stools 3 to 4 times.
can you tell what should be cosidered in stool test to know if baby is having infection

It seems that she is having GI tract infection.
Continue antibiotic medicine for full course and she will be free from infection.
Nothing to worry as medicine start working and pus cells came down.
