What Should I Do About Eczema On The Face And Genitals Of An Infant?

Hi Doctor, my Daughter is 11months and she has eczema since she was one month old, she has been going to a dermatologist but nothing seems to work, I ve tried aqueous cream, epimax. For Her genitals I used and use zinc and castor oil and Bepanthen for Her genitals because Her skin is peeling off and it s red on Her genitals. For Her face I use mylocort, I don t know what to use anymore and I don t use soap to bath Her I use aqueous cream the grey container with blue lid one

Hi,

If the nappy rash is not getting better then I would suggest a repeat clinical evaluation as she might need some antifungal and steroids cream for her nappy area. You can continue Mylocort for face but if it's not getting better or getting worse we can also use a strong steroid for a small time period but needs clinical evaluation first as long duration of steroids can also have side effects.
