What Shall I Do For Bleeding In Bronchial Asthma?

i get a sore throat , cough & subsequently after 2-3 days blood comes out with cough. doctors put me on prednisolone which stops the bleeding. i am also sufferin gfrom broncial asthma and take seroflo 250 inhaler everyday. i get scared when i see blood. kindly advise

I can understand your concern.
Blood in sputum is known as hemoptysis.
Lung infection is the most common cause for hemoptysis in asthma patient.
So get done chest x ray to rule out pneumonia (lung infection).
If chest x ray is normal then get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) because worsening of underlying asthma can also cause hemoptysis.
So you may need strict control of asthma.
So better to first rule out infection and try to achieve good control of asthma.
