What Salt Dosage Helps Maintain Electrolyte Balance?

How much salt should I consume daily to keep my electrolytes in balance when I have high blood pressure that is currently under control. I have cut almost all salt out of my cooking, but frequently have severe leg cramps during the middle of the night.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that you are having the cramps, due to the depletion of the salt, So you must add some salt, and the amount to be used depend upon the size of the body, and activity.
So add half of the salt you was using previously. And depend upon the comfort, and B.P, you can either increase, or decrease the salt. Avoiding complete salt is not advisable.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
