What Quantity Of TDAP Vaccine Is Usually Recommended?

I got a TDAP vaccine in June, and I need a record that I got it for my current job but the clinic that I got it at has not been responsive to my email and phone requests. Would it be ok if I went to my primary care doctor to get another TDAP vaccine? What I mean is that, is it ok to get the TDAP vaccine twice within a few months of each other? Thanks

Hi,

Tdap vaccine is not recommended to repeat within 5 years. Even though the efficacy/protecting power is unaffected, there is a chance that adverse effect, especially towards pertussis component, may be a bit higher. Kindly try solving the technical issue if feasible, or discuss with your doctor if it is not possible.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
