What Prognosis Is Recommended For This Abdominal Biopsy Test Result?
Hi Doctor, I had two polyps measuring 2mm and 4mm being removed from my colon two weeks ago. The histopathology diagnosis mentioned that there is no evidence of neoplasia. However there is mild dysphasia present and mitoses are absent. I have my family history with my father died at aged 59 due to colon cancer. Based on the above findings, what is the doctor advice and the current endanger my life? Awaiting for your response. Thank you.
dear hereditary cancer syndromes account for approximately 5 to 10 percent of colon cancer cases. Even though now polyp report normal please follow up with colonoscopy with 1-2year intervel.it is Early stage prognosis good only but dysplasia is a alarm sign to follow up.please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions feel free to ask.
