General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the following would be general measures to be followed in a patient with heart attack survival
- regular use of prescribed medications of a cardiologist for rest of the life as beta-blockers, calcium channel blocker, ace inhibitor, lipid-lowering agents, antiplatelets, antihypertensive (if applicable), anti-diabetic (if applicable)

* Regular walking, aerobics, YOGA, meditations
* Avoidance of smoking, alcohol if consuming
* Avoidance of stress, anxiety
* Regular sound sleep of 6-7 hours
* Regular visit to physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
